Pencils using MangaStudio 5. The perspective (chair, desk, etc) all done freehand after I spent too many hours trying to use the Perspective tools in MS to get it. Think that this one turned out fine, there’s a vitality to the objects that wouldn’t have been there if I had used the perspective tools. And doing the curves, levers and other deeply-bobs would, probably, not have been attempted. Now, next time, I may use the perspective tools to get a grid that can help keep the lines going to the Vanishing points consistent, but not use any snap-to-ruler option — keep the lines freehand.
Last week or so, @iron_spike shared some pictures of a african-american lady whose hair style I really liked, so this Quantumneer used the style, best I could from memory.Read Full Post | Make a Comment ( None so far )
Here are two sheets of characters. the first one has incidental characters and the second one has some of the Big Bad for the series.
Both were done using Manga Studio from sketch to inks and for all colors. Photoshop was only used for the “Character copyright” text and the background (which could’ve been done in Manga Studio, but I forgot.
